Ndis 6.4 Driver Download

Hi, I have a NDIS 6.2 based driver and i am porting it to various flavors of Windows such as Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. I find that there is significant info for porting NDIS 6.x drivers for Windows 8 (NDIS 6.3) and Windows 8.1 (NDIS 6.4), however, i am unable to find appropriate NDIS info for Windows 10 as the NDIS version is not very clearly mentioned for Windows 10. This article will provide you with instructions on how to download the latest driver or firmware for your Linksys device. NOTE: Images and download processes may vary depending on the operating system (OS) of the computer. IMPORTANT: The hardware version is located beside or beneath the model number and is labeled version, ver. The network driver supplied by intel is not ndis 6.4 compliant. Windows Miracast requires a wifi adapter running windows 8.1 specific driver (ndis 6.4).

If you are writing an NDIS driver for more than one version of Microsoft Windows, be sure the features that you are using are supported on each Windows version. New features have been added to NDIS with each release. Other features became obsolete and were removed from later NDIS versions.

Hiya. My R1 has just developed an overheating issue (luckily less than a year old) so I took it back to the shop. They only had a streaming stick in stock to replace, so I took that. I tried out Miracast from my Win8.1 tablet using its built in WiFi and it works great. If I plug in my older USB WiFi dongle though, it can't connect to Miracast (5GHz network, 5GHz netgear dongle). So, I have been looking for a Miracast compatible WiFi USB stick so my desktop PC can connect to the Roku via Miracast. Surprisingly, I can find absolutely no info on which are and which aren't Miracast compatible anywhere on the net or on the dongle boxes in the shops. Does anyone know an N600 or, ideally, an N900 usb pc WiFi adapter that will definitely support Miracast to my Roku from my newly built Win8.1 pro x64 desktop PC?
